First Snowfall of the Season Spotted at Whistler Blackcomb

It’s already happening. First in Colorado, and now in the mountains of Canada. This morning Whistler Blackcomb reported sightings of snowfall on the Whistler Peak, as seen through their webcams. Even though it’s much colder at the higher elevations, photos were seen of flakes flying even on the lower Roundhouse Lodge Webcam as well. Here’s to hoping it’s a good sign for the rest of the winter, plenty of pow, and not having to rely on a brand new snow making pilot project.

Snow on the Peaks of Whistler, BC

A screen grab from the Whistler webcams shows the snow has stuck around for the time being.

With the Farmers’ Almanac calling for a ‘wet and mild’ season for the PNW, we’re hoping this is the first of many snowfalls during the season.
