Drop Welcomes Blair McKinney To International Team

DROP Gloves continues building its team with the addition of Canadian rider Blair McKinney. One month ago, legendary rider Chris Roach joined the team as well.

Here’s what DROP has to say about Blair joining the program:

McKinney joins the glove maker's international team of athletes in representing the line's "inspired by the city, made for the snow" collection and aesthetic. Based right in between the shadows of Whistler's peaks and Vancouver's high rises in Squamish, BC, McKinney is a well rounded rider that can handle any terrain, from street rails to backcountry booters. His last few video parts with the Jibberish crew (Simon Chamberlain, JP Walker etc.) and an annual invite to Jeremy Jones, JP Walker and Seth Huot's 'The Spot' aremore than a testament to his skills.

"Blair's got a great attitude, an even better work ethic and he really elevated his riding to the next level in his latest full part. We couldn't be happier about adding him to the team."- Chris Gougeon, Senior Designer

Currently McKinney is traveling and filming with industry icon JP Walker on a new project focused on Blair himself called 'The Blair Switch Project'.

DROP, a technically-driven accessories company that has focused exclusively on the design and development of snowboard-specific gloves for more than fifteen years, is known in the industry for its quality product, design aesthetic and innovation in technology. The collection features gloves for men, women and kids and is available in specialty and leading retailers around the country and online.

Blair joins the rest of the brand's 2015/16 team roster, including Chris Roach, Dylan Alito, Romain De Marchi, Sean Black, Marty Robertson and Mark Hoyt.
