November 8, 2010 – Huntington Beach, CA – DC is kicking off the Winter 2011 season with the much-anticipated DC Ride Along Tour TWO. The tour begins this Saturday, November 13th when the DC Snow team hits Timberline Mountain in Portland, OR for the first stop. Stay tuned to DC’s Facebook page for official updates and photos from the tour.

“The response from last years Ride Along Tour was tremendous,” said Jason Smith, DC’s Snow Marketing Director. “We’re really looking forward to getting back on the mountain, interacting with the local snowboarders, and hanging out at local shops.”

The Ride Along Tour TWO will have the DC Snow team visiting mountains across North America and Canada throughout November and December. Riders including Devun Walsh, Torstein Horgmo, Iikka Backstrom, Lauri Heiskari, Aaron Biittner, Travis Rice, Kimmy Fasani, Raewyn Reid, and Andrew Geeves will be doing on mountain demos and visiting local shops to get people excited to shred this upcoming season.

The announcement of the tour comes on the heels of the DC Winter 2011 Snowboarding Collection launch that includes boards, boots, outerwear and accessories packed with the latest performance, technology and style features. The collection is available now at select DC Snow retailers and on DC’s website.

This year’s line has been receiving rave reviews and has been awarded numerous honors including TransWorld SNOWboarding “Good Wood” awards for three of DC’s newest snowboards – the Devun Pro, the Tone, and the Women’s Biddy. Devun Walsh’s signature board, the Devun Pro, is the pinnacle of the DC snowboard line and perfect for all types of riding, from the park to the powder. The Tone, a true-twin tip board, is great for all mountain freestyle riding and favored by pro Lauri Heiskari who used it as a base for his signature model. In the women’s category the Biddy was honored. Influenced and designed with DC’s female riders Kimmy Fasani and Raewyn Reid, this board is a powerful all mountain board that lets girls shred in the park and conquer the backcountry.
