Colorado Snow Report

Colorado has a tradition of cool temperatures and snow on Halloween, Denver has had snow on Oct. 31 or Nov. 1 for 38 of the last 50 years (

Colorado resorts can expect 1-5 more inches of snow accumulation today. In Summit County, Grand County, Silverton, Steamboat, Vail, Aspen, Crested Butte, Powderhorn, Sunlight and Telluride there is a 40-50 percent chance of more snow by the end of Halloween weekend.

Loveland and Arapahoe Basin are both open to skiers and riders craving turns on the sweet confection and donning the haunted holiday’s craziest costumes this weekend. Copper Mountain is currently open for race training and will open to the public Friday, Nov. 5 and Breckenridge and Keystone will open Friday, Nov. 12.
