Avalanche at Russia’s Mount Elbrus

Over the weekend, an avalanche at Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe at 18,510 feet, engulfed 15 cars. No casualties or injuries have been reported from the incident. The orangish snow that stopped just before hitting any major buildings is tinted such a color due to dust in the atmosphere, blown in from the Sahara Desert, over 1500 miles away.
