Jamie Anderson skipped our Rookie Of The Year award back when she was still making a name for herself and went straight to picking up her first Women's Rider Of The Year title in 2009. After a hiatus from the Riders' Poll stage for a few winters, she earned the Women's Readers' Choice award for one of the most incredible competitive seasons on record in 2014, which included winning the inaugural Olympic slopestyle event at Sochi, Russia.
Since then, the eco-friendly rocket of progression that Jamie has been riding continues to climb. First, she claimed victory at the 2015 Burton US Open slopestyle, then hopped the pond to Austria where she landed her first frontside 1080 at the Nine Queens event, a rarely seen trick in women's riding.
In between this all, she continued to film for the all-women's two-year movie, Full Moon, due out fall 2016. Featuring this generation's most talented group of lady backcountry riders including Leanne Pelosi, Annie Boulanger, Helen Schettini, Hana Beaman, Marie-France Roy, and Robin Van Gyn, expect to see Jamie's riding move into the deep powder realm.
As the most dominate force in women's slopestyle snowboarding, we look forward to watching Jamie Anderson as she continues to break new ground on contest courses and beyond.
