Good Wood 2012: Stepchild Powder Sucks

2012 Stepchild Powder Sucks SnowboardStepchild Powder Sucks ($359)

Never judge a board by its base graphic. Available in both traditional and reverse camber, the Powder Sucks makes friends with all types of terrain. The tip-to-tail poplar wood core offers a smooth and consistent flex. A set of 24 inserts gives multiple stance options, from centered for park to set back for pow. A diamond-shaped extra layer of fiberglass over the inserts reduces the chance of binding blowouts without affecting the flex.

Tester Feedback:

“This is my type of all-mountain board. It’s stable at high speed and easy to turn and butter. Ridiculous pop regular and switch.”
