Founded in 1995, Arbor Snowboards is a brand defined by their tradition of craftsmanship, quality, design, a 20-year commitment to the environment, and their collaboration with artists and riders who share their vision.
With the A-Frame, Westmark Camber Frank April Edition, Cypress binding, and Sequoia binding as submissions at our inaugural STOMP Summit in Aspen, Arbor displayed their 20+ years of dedication to the snowboarding community.
Sizes: 158, 162, 165MW
Once a staple in the Arbor line, the classic A-Frame has been resurrected for this upcoming season. Featuring a newly redesigned shape and construction while still retaining the unmatched edge hold and high speed stability that it was once known for, this particular adaptation has been refined with Grip-Tech contact points and Uprise fenders. That meant deeper carves, improved stability, and now, thanks to the slight taper in its shape, even better float. No matter the conditions or terrain, the A-Frame proved to be a Grade-A deck.
Westmark Camber Frank April EditionMSRP: $499.99
Sizes: 153, 156
The Westmark has proven to be a worthy board of choice for jibbers and rail riders all over the world – one of them being Arbor team rider and rail destroyer Frank April. Featuring new Flip Tips in both the tip and tail, which created extra kick for noticeably improved ollie and nollie performance, this classic-cambered park deck comes wrapped up in a clean toolbox-inspired graphic that's Frank April approved. If you spend the majority of your time in the park or in the street – but still enjoy cruising the resort from time to time – the poppy, medium-flexing Westmark might just be the tool you need, too.
Sizes: S/M, M/L, L/XL
Colors: Black, Brown, White
Built around Arbor's exclusive X-Drive Baseplate, which has been stiffened up this season for increased power and performance, the Cypress is a binding that's designed for big mountain freeriders who see everything as one giant playground. And while the highbacks did provide ample support and response, they also allowed for plenty of lateral flex too, making the Cypress a worthy option for those who enjoy lapping through the park from time to time. Top it all off with Arbor's patented Bow-Strap Adjuster straps, which allowed for easy entry and exit, and you've got a high-end, detail-oriented binding that hung with the best of them.
Sizes: S/M, M/L, L/XL
Colors: Black, Mint, Natural
By taking their proprietary, performance driven X-Drive Baseplate and tweaking it into a smaller and more forgiving package, Arbor has developed a women's freeride binding that made comfort, response and durability a priority. With a new, redesigned women's specific asymmetrical highback, brand new dual-injected ankle straps and strengthened hardware, the Sequoia proved to be a reliable and versatile all-mountain binding that could suit women of all styles – from those who enjoy casual groomer laps to those who like charging through the sidecountry.
This past spring, TransWorld SNOWboarding hosted the inaugural STOMP Summit. With Aspen as the venue, STOMP set out to provide an engaging platform for brands, retailers, and media to interact, offering each the opportunity to experience and understand this season’s most sought after gear firsthand, on the mountain. Featuring products from the brands in attendance, every item has received its chance to shine on-hill, as we took over one of the world’s most iconic resorts.
