This is the deck that launched Capita into the snowboard world over a decade ago. It’s back for its ten-year anniversary and fully revamped with a fresh shape. “It’s new-school tech in a classic Capita design,” says teamrider Dustin Craven. The dark deck is shaped with the new Freeride Flat Kick profile-providing all-mountain edge hold with camber and the freestyle float of rocker in the tips. The tip, tail, and contact points are also steadied with two thick basalt stringers stretching outward from the mounting zones. With a poplar and paulownia wood core, it’s twenty percent lighter than last year’s model. Lastly, it’s fast–Capita’s super-durable, wax-infused sintered base will help you clear any deathly gap you encounter.
