Smokin's Awesym is a freestyle asymmetric twin shape capable of taking tricks to higher grounds. The medium flex, forgiving rocker, and positive camber hybrid profile make it easy manipulate and drive, and perfect for more freestyle riders. "This board has a really comfortable flex and feel, and a big part of it is the reverse camber between the feet that allows a lot of control between the bindings, letting you steer with your feet and lift up the nose," one tester described. Another simply called it an "awesome bomber." Many of our testers found it capable at both slow and fast riding, saying, "It's playful for a big-mountain crusher, but very confident in the chunder-gnar," and "It was buttery and fun, but stiff enough to still cruise at high speeds." Elements of its design that make it playful yet stable at speed are the hemp stringer additives in the tips and added dampening materials. Another in the crew explained, "It turned like a charm in slush and harder stuff, and held a great edge at high speeds. It was really fun on the side hits. Where there's smoke there's fire, and this board was just that."

(Flex is not standardized and differs by brand. The rating here is the best estimate of
the board's flex.)
(Sidecut Radius: If you arced the tightest turn possible to make a complete circle, the sidecut radius would be the distance between the direct center of that circle and its rim, in meters. A board with a deeper sidecut would have a smaller radius and would generally make tighter turns. As the radius number increases, a board can be expected to make wider turns. Multiple numbers on the same length board means the radius is blended.)
