Online Video Series of the Year: FSBS
FSBS, an acronym for Frontside Backside, is the brainchild of its star and filmer/director. The genius created by Forest Bailey and Seamus Foster working together is documented in this series that demonstrates Bailey's unique approach to street riding—one that emphasizes lines, natural speed, and spots other riders wouldn't look twice at. Forest certainly knows how to ride a snowboard, and Seamus has figured out how to capture it in the most fitting way possible. As a series, FSBS is loosely segmented geographically, comprised of episodes filmed by Seamus, as the duo has traveled the world and linked up with friends along the way. Bailey, who is as much, or more, an artist as an athlete, has long been a standout rider because of his innate ability to ride a board—not just use it as a means to perform tricks. It's an attribute FSBS depicts well, and his "best of" footage is a reminder of how insanely good at snowboarding Forest is.
