Women’s Readers’ Choice: Jess Kimura — TransWorld SNOWboarding Riders’ Poll 18

For 18 years, TransWorld SNOWboarding has polled the professional snowboarding community to find their picks for the best riders of the year. Each season, these awards are decided by the opinions of over 100 pros. There is one award TransWorld presents each year, however, that is not decided by the pros. The prestigious TWSNOW Readers' Choice Awards presented by Toyota are determined by thousands of readers and fans of TransWorld SNOWboarding,

It is one of the highest honors you can receive as a snowboarder, because it's an award completely chosen by the readers most in-tune with snowboarding. We opened up voting so you could select the rider that you feel exemplifies all the things you like most about snowboarding.

We are proud to present Jess Kimura as this year's Readers' Choice winner.

Despite enduring injury, Jess overcame the obstacles in front of her, rose above and put out a stacked, self-released full part. This segment was nominated for Video Part of the Year, and Jess also earned a nomination for Women's Rider of the Year.

Jess has consistently pushed the progression of her own riding, in doing so, pushes snowboarding as a whole, especially the women.

Congrats to Jess Kimura for winning Readers' Choice.
