there is no such thing, there are no wheels and no trucks. all you're doing is an ef'd up boardslide (or nose or tail slide, but even that's a stretch). however, stevens still rules.
It's true, this crap is embarrassing for snowboarding. The trick he just did is a tailslide in skateboarding, so why is the snowboard version of a tailslide being called out as harder skateboard trick that he didnt even do?
You can't do a blunt on a snowboard. Hell lets just call it a kickflip BS blunt slide 270 out, cause he came as close to a kickflip as he did to a blunstslide. Embarrassing.
if u approached the rail backside and land on your back foot like he did on a skateboard it would be called a blunt slide….quit fretting about the name of the trick at least get it right if your gonna complain. Scott Stevens is the man and you're just jealous he can skateboard AND snowboard better than you. …your embarrassing…
no hating on Scott Stevens. he's the man and a board control master. not to mention he actually has fun when he straps in. plus…i bet he could still to a kickflip BS blunt slide 270 out on a snowboard.
haha, you cant even get the facts right for skateboarding. it would be a blunt on a skateboard and its a blunt on a snowboard. your probably fat and cant even reach your bindings anyways.
there is a blunt in snowboarding. straight to back foot makes it a blunt. hence a blunt to fakie/revert. snowboarding is not skateboarding. get over that. some things are similar but its still not skateboarding.
haha man he is coming in backside jumping over to the other side of rail thats why it is blunt, a tailslide is if he came in frontside and went straight to tail, get ur shit right, and learn snowboard tricks before you chirp a pro lol
bluntslides and tailslides are different. if it was a tail slide he would have come at the rail from the opposite side. a blunt is where your nose goes over the rail and you catch on your back foot. a tail slide would be where you step the tail of your board over the rail and catch on your back foot.
and for the kid sayin that this is really a tail slide named a blunt to sound harder… in snowboarding tailslides are harder than bluntslides… think front blunt 270 vs back tail 270.
there are both tail slides and blunt slides in snowboarding. just the way there are both lipslides and boardslides.
obviously there really actually is a blunt in snowboarding. look it up. nose goes over the rail, u lock on your back foot. what would you call it? a tailslide? only if he came from the OTHER SIDE OF THE RAIL.
is this guy for real? yeahhhh scott steven sucks he just puts out AMAZING video parts every year with some of the most creative shit youve ever seen, not to mention sick style. Unfortunately this tool will never get past step in bindings and a matching blaster bag. FUCKING KOOKS WOW.
Not a kid, been skating the snowboarding for 20 years. Your trick analogy to skateboarding is wrong. A blunt slide is not defined by the approach to the obstacle, like a lipslide or a boardslide, but the boards position on the obstacle. A tailslide and blunt slide are both caught on the back foot. In a blunt, the board is in a near vertical position, locked in on the rear trucks and tail. Since snowboards have no trucks, you can't lock into a blunt, but you can stall one out quickly.
If we're going to call the snowboard trick a skateboard trick, then it has to be the same (like every other snowboard trick named after a skateboard trick). His board is not in a vertical position on the tail, like a blunt, it's flat on the on the obstacle, like a tailslide. So, it's a tailslide.
ok you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. first watch some one do a bluntslide onflat bar on a skateboard. it just looks like a tailslide but you ollie over the rail. sae with on a box you ollie over the copingon the box. but because a box has a top your board goes vertical. some people just do the vertical board thing on a rail to steez it out a bit. this arguement reminds me of when people call a frontboard a back board because your back is facing in the direction your sliding
who gives a shit what it is, still sick and i'm still trying it this yearrrrrr. also are u guys french r something? stop ur whining. stupidest argument since why r frontsides backward and backsides forwards. so long as ur stompin them who gives a shit. if your in a comp let the announcer decide what to call your shit. ps THANKS SCOTT STEVENS!! sometimes other pros sound like they have no idea about how to explain a trick on trick tips, but i think i can nail this 1 now.

October 13th, 2009 at 6:15 pm
its a back blunt. your binding acts as the trucks. so anything over em make it a blunt.

October 13th, 2009 at 9:07 pm

its not a blunt… but you say its a fed up noseslide or tailslide when both those tricks also involve trucks and wheels.
October 14th, 2009 at 2:33 pm
stevens rocks my boots bs over the rail to back foot that's a blunt

Funny, I feel the same way about people who think there is a blunt slide in snowboarding.
October 15th, 2009 at 10:45 pm
Oh look I just slide on my back foot instead of in between my feet, wow I can blunt slide. Lame.
October 18th, 2009 at 8:22 am
