i understand budgets are limited right now and that ad dollars help pay for everything but honestly, lets not forget what is going on, this is a snowboarding magazine, supposedly the best snowboarding magazine in the world. The creme of the crop if you will. Why ruin it with UFC ads. It really makes me not even want to visit the website, let my subscription run out and well just stop caring about what you guys have to say. The way I look at it, UFC is more like two half naked men fisting themselves. So Jason if thats what you like to watch, by all means buy the Pay Per View… Personally I think your just gay. UFC is too legit. Snowboarding is fun and all, but its gotta be one of the LEAST productive things one could do with their time.

some things just matter a bit more. actually working, not getting hurt, as to continue actually working, some TRULY creative hobbies ie; paint, photo, whatever. shit, I guarantee that 70% of the people that visit this site have not read a real book in the past month.

Snowboarding may be pointless to you, but tell the thousands of resort operators, snowboard companies, clothing and outerwear companies who depend on snowboarding, that it is pointless. Snowboarding is an industry. business. Just like skiing. Just like UFC. For me, snowboarding is a hobby that influences everything I do. Sure as hell not pointless.
Personally I’m way more down with kids wanting to shred like their favourite pro as opposed to a kid who wishes he could fight like chuck liddel.

Snowboarding is about hanging with friends and everyone having a good time. If some people enjoy beating other people up to challenge themself or whatever then so be it, I just don’t want that attitude at the mountain.
This video is extremely shaky, the riding looks ordinary and doesn’t come close to doing justice to how good these guys really are. It’s got to be one of the poorest quality videos I’ve seen in a long time.

Wow people are taking this like I hate snowboarding. I do not. I love it. Alot. I just can not believe how self-involved the “scene” has gotten, so much so that most of the children commenting on this site see UFC ads, and automatically resort to name calling, mocking, and pure idiocy.
I am not saying I am better than everyone, just better than the smarmy morons who fail to understand how amazing UFC is.

I actually do train similarly to a fighter for snowboarding. Not only does being in shape help prevent injuries and speed up recovery time from hiking jumps or getting slammed in the park all day, the ladies also looove it. Plus it actually makes me a better rider. I do take protein after workouts fwiw.
Some of you dudes just need to chill. UFC is a sport. Yeah there are a lot of douchebags in UFC…but there are also a lot of douchebags in snowboarding. Nothing wrong with a little advertising.
