The 9th stop of the 12th annual Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM landed in Stevens Pass, WA this past weekend to find a few more qualifiers for the TransAM finals in Cali next weekend. Early week rain was making it tough for Brian Boyle and the Stevens Pass park crew to perfect the TransAM course for Washington’s top amateur snowboarders. A late week magical break in the weather is all the crew needed for the finishing touches and they got it. The Stevens Pass magicians waved their wands as soon as the rain stopped and, voila’, a perfectly sculpted TransAM park with strategically placed features from the TransAM Sponsors: Ride Snowboards, Muscle Milk, Zumiez, Giro, Anon, Analog and High Cascade Snowboard Camp. The snow & rain stayed away on event day allowing the Washingtonians to show off some of the most technical TransAM wizardry on a snowboard yet this season!

Congratulations to the top three Guys and Gals that qualified for the Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM Finals at Big Bear Mountain, CA on March 15, 2014 (Next Weekend)! Top honors went to Max Dre & Naima Antolin who walked away with flight vouchers to Finals courtesy of Zumiez, VIP treatment for the finals on behalf of Transworld SNOWboarding, snowboards from Ride, and the coveted TransAM bling chain necklace trophy!

All Winners also received tons of awesome product including High Cascade backpacks, Anon goggles, Analog outerwear, Giro Helmets and Zumiez gift cards, Muscle Milk product and gear from Ride Snowboards. All TransAM competitors at Stevens Pass had a chance to win raffle prizes and were treated to a Stevens Pass sandwich party following the awards ceremony.

The prestigious Muscle Milk Riders Choice Award, went to Max Dre, who took home a $250 American Express gift card, a custom Muscle Milk backpack, and a case of Muscle Milk for his efforts.

The Zumiez Best Trick Award in the form of $500 cold hard Zumiez dollars went to Marvin Pingera.

Pint Size Ripper Award of the 2014 Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM tour at Stevens Pass went to Keala Cole.

Special thanks to Brian Boyle and the Stevens Pass Park Staff for a great TransAM park set up.

Special thanks to the TransAM sponsors for another successful TransAM stop: Ride Snowboards, Zumiez, Anon Optics, Analog, High Cascade Snowboard Camp, Muscle Milk and Giro.

We’ll see you at Big Bear, CA. next week for the Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM Finals!
