Seven Springs Mountain Resort, PA welcomed the TransAM crew and 100 of the top amateur snowboarders from the region for the 3rd stop of the 12th annual Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM event. Jeremy Anderson, Joe Genovese and the Seven Springs Mountain Resort park crew took advantage of some new snow and let the creative juices flow with the custom features from the TransAM sponsors: Ride Snowboards, Anon, Analog, Zumiez, Giro, Muscle Milk and High Cascade Snowboard Camp.

Guys

The finals of the TransAM at Seven Springs did not disappoint. AJ Lawson (1st Place) pulled away from the pack and ended up topping some very fierce competition with his performance on the Seven Springs Mountain Resort down rail and the Muscle Milk combo features. Tim Major (2nd place) showcased his classic smooth style on the Anon double rail and the Zumiez wall ride over the famous Zumiez couch. Tom Weiss (3rd Place) impressed the judges with his handling of the High Cascade Snowboard Camp Marshmallow feature.

Gals

Carly Harrington (1st Place) topped the competition by keeping steady on the Analog stair case and Giro jersey barrier features. Holly Tetzlan used the Ride Snowboards hip feature to earn her 2nd place and Theresa Kewley (3rd Place) stayed consistent all day squeezing in for the last TransAM podium spot.

Congratulations to the top three Guys and Gals that qualified for the Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM Finals at Big Bear Mountain, CA on March 15, 2014. First Placers AJ Lawson & Carly Harrington walked away with flight vouchers to Finals courtesy of Zumiez, VIP treatment for the finals weekend on behalf of Transworld SNOWboarding, snowboards from Ride, and the coveted TransAM bling chain necklace trophy!

All Winners received tons of awesome product including High Cascade backpacks, Anon goggles, Analog outerwear, Giro Helmets and Zumiez gift cards, and gear from Ride Snowboards. Competitors also had a chance to win raffle prizes and were treated to a Seven Springs Mountain Resort TransAM pizza party at the Fox Den immediately after the awards ceremony.

The prestigious Muscle Milk Riders Choice Award, as voted by the competitors, went to AJ Lawson who took home a loaded American Express gift card and a custom Muscle Milk backpack for his efforts.

The Zumiez Best Trick Award in the form of $500 cold hard Zumiez dollars went to Chili Graves for his front 3 to down rail.

Miles Fallon walked away with the Pint Size Ripper Award for the second time in two weeks, backing up his performance from Big Boulder the week prior.  Please get familiar with the name Miles Fallon.  Trust me, you WILL be hearing it on a regular basis.

Special thanks to Joe Genovese and the Seven Springs Mountain Resort park crew for their long hours of park building during cold snowy conditions and the TransAM sponsors for making stop  #3 of the TransAM a huge success: Ride Snowboards, Zumiez, Anon Optics, Analog, High Cascade Snowboard Camp, Muscle Milk and Giro.

Thank you once again to Tony Cardoni for bringing his colorful commentary out to Seven Springs Mountain Resort. See you in Wisconsin!
