Salomon Team Training Part One
The first edit of the new 3 part web series ‘Team Training’ from Salomon Snowboards. Join Jed Anderson, Louif Paradis, Chris Grenier, Harrison Gordon, Nils Mindnich, Kohei Kudou, Teddy Koo, and Chris Carr as they ride the rails from spot to spot, log hams, and kill time. This is Team Training!
Who did you have the best session with this on this trip?
The white gap rail session that Jed switch backside 270’d and I cab 270’d. Teddy Koo did a backlip too I think. It was a high energy session on a fun rail.
What was the hardest trick to land in this video?
I haven’t seen the edits yet, so I don’t know what clips they used. They saved a lot of stuff for my videograss part. I battled a Mctwist for a while and that cab 270 was what I was most hyped on.
What was your favorite city this trip?
Hanging out in Tokyo for a few days was fun. I can’t even remember where else we went. It felt like small towns we stayed in not really cities for the most part.
When did you feel on top of the world this trip?
When I finally got the cab 2 to regular
When did you feel like you wanted to give up this trip?
I rolled my ankle skateboarding, I was pretty bummed out, I honestly thought I was gonna have to leave early.
How many trains did you miss?
I can’t remember, probably a ton of them. Traveling on trains with huge board bags is a pain in the ass, but it’s still a pretty cool way to travel.
It’s seriously the best, i owe it everything, everyone I spend time with, all the places I’ve traveled, people I’ve met, it’s all cause of snowboarding. I like it cause it’s a drug, you do a hard trick, it will hold you over for a day or 2, then you need to do another one. It’s endless, it gives me a sense of purpose and daily accomplishment. It’s always changing new and exciting. It’s the fucking best.
What’s next for you?
Thirtytwo is making a movie. I’m hyped to be a part of that. It should be a fun new project.
