What do you do with a bluebird day, a world-class photographer, and less than ideal conditions? You milk it! Get an up close look as Johnny and Logan meet with TransWorld Senior Photographer, Scott Serfas, to see if they can squeeze out some magazine worthy photos up in the Mt. Seymour backcountry. Will all the hiking, building, and multiple snapshots pay off? Let’s just say that sometimes it not the size of the feature, it’s
how you hit it that counts.

November 9th, 2008 at 1:50 pm

November 9th, 2008 at 2:22 pm

November 9th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
those on screen ad annoy the crap outta me. looked like fun though
November 9th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

November 9th, 2008 at 2:53 pm
pow…. with 3 inches of ice on top…
November 9th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
on the east coast this would have been a pow day.
dust on crust with sunny skies = good times!
deep snow is for jocks.
November 9th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
i agree about the on screen ads. put them anywhere else on the website but not on the damn video we’re trying to watch
November 9th, 2008 at 3:40 pm

November 9th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
if this show is an indicator of the future of snowboarding then the future will suck… serfas takes sick photos though
November 9th, 2008 at 6:39 pm
didnt you hear why they called it “milking it”?
November 9th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
i liked how they made something out of nothing. the tree jib was kinda lame but i liked the mini 1/4 pipe. midwest kids, u need to move cuz real pow is the greatest thing in the world!
November 9th, 2008 at 7:57 pm
I live in Alaska, we dont even get these conditions, its either three feet of fresh powder or leftovers. Haha!
November 9th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
asshole way to make me more jealous.
November 10th, 2008 at 12:07 am
scott is amazing….. that video was really bad. holy fuck.
November 10th, 2008 at 1:35 am
How was the video bad? as a snowboarder/photog i liked watching it, just not the weird lifestyley intro part… Serfas is the man to get shots that dope with such minimal setup…
i want to see more photo/video related features, multimedia is such an integral part of snowboarding today
November 10th, 2008 at 11:35 am
I totally agree with you. Most of the kids that would be complaining about this kind of video and small features lack the creativity that it takes to be a real snowboarder anyhow, and probably spend way too much time in the park riding rails. If it wasn’t for the Photogs and Videographers that make them look good they wouldn’t get any exposure.
I would also like to see more features based on the guys behind the scenes making everyone else look so good.

Thanks for the props guys, glad you liked the video. Not everyday can be great (yes this is a “shitty” day in BC) and not everyday can be full of death defying snowboarding. This video was meant to show what snowboarding should be all about, even if you do it for a living. Like Johnny said in the video, “there could be worse things to do right?” We just hung out on the top of Seymour with a few cold beers, played around in the snow, watched the sun set while dorkin’ around on a little QP and milked it. A real fun day with some friends not to be taken seriously. We didn’t expect to shoot anything worthy (a spread in the first issue of TWS by the way…) but if your not out there having fun and doing it you might as well be on here complaining….

Hey just readin’ all the feedback. Thanks for takin’ the time.
We made this because we felt Logan and Johnny deserved the attention. Canadian riders in general deserve the attention. In Canada for sure they don’t get enough love. And we wanted to have a good time messin’ around with the lifestyle theme, and we were able to hang out with the likes of Scott Serfas in the process…
The guys also got to tear the hell out of snowboards when they went product testing…at the gun range…and go tank jousting, a bunch of decent stuff, with the support of a hard working team.
And now thank you for making the degrassi comment cause I’ve the zit remedies song…
