resorts don’t close do to lack of snow. it’s because most of them are on national forest land and they aren’t allowed to stay open any longer.

yea, i was at brighton on wenesday the 6th, i was in salt lake visting a college for next year, and i was left a little confused at why it was closed down since there was still 4 feet of snow at the base, i live in new hampshire, and my home mountain closes when the gaps on the trails are too big to jump

I finally found out what annoys me about these Brighton videos! Yes, there is still lots of snow, yes, the park is always minty fresh, yes, they all ride with narrow stances. NO, it is not any of these things that bothers me! All these Brighton riders lift their back foot up when they ollie, but they dont lift it before their front foot, so its not a nollie. It has to be the most awkward way to hop on and off of rails ever. Not to mention that you could never do it on a skateboard. They all ollie like that. That is also what pisses me off about Jed Anderson, he hops like that too! I dont even mind that they have narrow stances, thats fine, I just wish they would ollie in a smoother, more visually pleasing fashion. Lift your front foot, then your back foot to follow. Thats how skaters do it and that how its looks best. Thank you for listening, and I’m sure the Dinobots from Brighton will take this advice to heart when snowboarding and filming in the future. when i was 5′9″ i rode a 23.5 inch stance. now im a little over 6′ and i ride a 24.5 inch stance. i can ride as narrow as 24, but any narrower and my board feels too grippy.

some people are really stupid when it comes to snowboarding, let people ride how they want to ride! the way other people ride doesnt affect you so just shut up, snowboarding is the most ambiguous activity, sport, whatever you want to call it in the world, there is no wrong way to do it, so stop hating for stupid reasons and appreciate these people having fun on a snowboard seeing that THAT IS WHAT SNOWBOARDING IS ABOUT (not about stance widths or correct ollies)
