GoPro: Getting The Shot With Travis Rice

GoPro: Getting The Shot With Travis Rice

GoPro has been doing some pretty amazing stuff in the past few years and it’s all about perspective. We have always been trying to get a rider’s perspective on their sport and the fact that GoPro has made that dream a reality, the possibilities are endless. Here we have an exceptionally rad couple clips of Travis Rice and GoPro Production Artist Matt Cook attempting to get the perfect shot off a perfect windlip in the deep backcountry of  British Columbia at CMH Galena, where GoPro brought some of the world’s best riders on a 3 day helicopter adventure in search of a couple last clips of the season. You can see the whole process that the filmer and rider participate in to get the perfect shot. Anything like the angle, shadow, glare, or proximity can make for a garbage shot of an epic situation, so everything has to be perfect. Eventually, the guys sync up correctly and get an absolutely epic perspective of Travis Rice sending it off the windlip in the middle of this frozen wonderland.
