in other words, we want to see what we can’t do, rather than what we can.

i dont agree. it makes me feel more like shredding if there are fun looking tricks in the vid that i can try with my friends, compared to switch double cork 1260’s in a vid that is 50% contest shots. those vids are cool to see how crazy snowboarding gets, but its like watching porn with playboy models, you’ll never be able to do that…

Anybody getting super sick and tired of seeing footage of people “cruising through the Bear park having fun”? Its getting soooooo boring!!! Has Nima even left the Bear park in the last 2 years?? What a lucky guy he is being able to build a whole snowboard career off riding 10 ft jumps and 12 foot park rails. It would help his riding to get out of the Bear park.

This makes me excited to to get to run into tyler one day. Hes one of my favorite snowboarders. I dont think ive ever seen anyone do a backside 360 like that man. Skinny stances are the best. BOTTOM LINE: All these dudes can throw down. Sh*t, half the rail tricks we do, Nima and Mathes made famous.
I know this video is them just F-in around, and I completely understand not wanting to get broke in a park (save it for the streets).
But aren’t these the guys who complain about all the CORPORATE stuff ruining snowboarding. then produce a goof-ball video for the sole purpose of being a CORPORATE advertisement. I understand when companies post highlight clips of their team, but most of them are good/warranted clips, not we screwed-around for an hour in the park vids.
All these NON-CORPORATE companies sure do put up alot of CORPORATE ads and videos to promote their products and brainwash most of you. When’s the last time K2/Burton/Mervin posted videos every week just so they could advertise. That’s the whole reason they posted this in the first place. CORPORATE ADVERTISEMENT

im more getting at the point that last year, sundays in the park were always fun, but they had innovative stuff too, like all the back 1 switch back one shit that was new last year.
we dont have anything like that this year, and i think they’re trying to compensate for the lack of progression by going for the fun angle.
and no im not just saying progression is the only important thing about snowboarding…but without it where would we be?

How about the camera guy goes out next time with a Whip and his camera and forces everyone to do tricks that have never been done before. Next he can get them all in the same clothes and riding in a perfect single file line while hitting everything. Then when the crew gets to the bottom they will all raise their arms straight in the air for a nice salute shout something in German then get on the chairlift and do it again.

first off, those jumps are a lot bigger than ten feet. also, they’re going pretty damn big on that hip. and there’s some pretty crazy shit in here - lances huge switch backside tailgrab on the hip is pretty progressive. but i bet you don’t notice things like switch and regular - if its not a 1080 you don’t really give a fuck right
