This was a super solid Bear Treats.
Pat Lynch’s part was especially legit and it’s agreeable that it
was sick to see a Goon appearnce in the Treats. Zak Hale lived
up to more than a lil bit’a hype I feel this guy is under and
rode surprisingly well (finished 8th at Triple Air at mthigh).
The level of riding And filming in this year’s series of Sunday
in the Park has steadily improved installmentt-installment. The
only critiques i would serve up are that the basic tricks be
executed a little cleaner. If you see a nollie hardway back 1
switch nose press, it’s acceptable for it to be less than
perfect. The bangers were definitely present, but I feel that if
you took some more laps you could pull more bangers out these
pimps. I have been filming a lot this year and the days that I
can land my best tricks are those days that we lap the park for a
long long time and the tricks just flow easy and are really fun.
I suggest you guys try this out for the next Bear Treats, and if
not with everyone, with the special appearance rider of the next
installment. In a worst case scenario situation, you end up with
a T-grip of shots to cut with at the end of the season to cut a
really good video with. you guys are all doing an excellent job,
don’t be scared to try stuff because you don’t want some Joe
gaper to see you fall, forget about the stereostypes that your
particulliar style reps and be creative with your riding and use
features to their Full potential.

Deltron 3030 was super big with riding for a while. Every rail jam you would hear a couple 3030 tracks; heard the newer mixed album? Remember when Swollen Member’s tracks were in every film and synonymous with shred music? Full Circle

I don’t think getting bangers and perfect shots is the point of sunday in the park/bear treats. In fact i think it’s the opposite; getting back to creativity and playful riding, not focusing on thrashing the hell out of every rail and destroying every feature with monster sickness. Believe it or not boarding can be about having fun sometimes and not just throwing down the gnarliest movie part.

true. when they started this it was cause it was an all park mountain, and kids were getting mad creative on out-of-the-ordinary shit. now its turned into a regular park. almost all the locals at my mountain could produce the same tricks on down rails and stuff, now they video bear just cuz of its rep. don’t get me wrong, bear used to be the shit, just not anymore. what happened to bradshaw/jalali tearing it up?
