Shaun White qualified first today at the second stop of the Chevrolet Grand Prix series in Breckenridge, Colorado. Following up his win in Thursday’s Grand Prix, White rode to a 44.60 score in a good and getting better Freeway Eight superpipe during the stop number two qualifier.

The Grand Prix will decide the U.S. Olympic Snowboard Team in a series of five events, starting at Breckenridge and ending at Mountain Creek, New Jersey on January 22, two weeks before the Olympic pipe event in Torino, Italy.

In a best-of-two-runs format, the top five riders from each of four heats and the four highest scores overall advanced to tomorrow’s final.

Here’s who’s in. Check the slide show for more. We’ll be back right after tomorrow’s final to fill you in on the “Road To Torino—sorry for the cliché.
