“I was pumped to get that first run, cause that’s what I was working on all week—the back-to-back ten, and back-to-back nine. But it was sketchy watching Antti, Risto and Louie’s runs. I was stressing, because usually your first run doesn’t hold up, luckily that wasn’t the case. And I’m so pumped for Scotty—he’s my best friend and my roommate. I love seeing him do well because he’s worked so hard to get where he’s at—he deserved this.” —Mason Aguirre

“I still can’t believe it—its awesome, especially to podium with Mason. The pipe was perfect, it was one of the best pipes I’ve ever ridden. I think I have an advantage in icy pipes being from the east coast it’s what I grew up riding. This is my last contest for the year, I’m going back to Mammoth to chill and help Mason get ready for the Olympics, then hopefully start filming with Clancy’s new project. —Scotty Lago

“Shaun killed it and finally got what he’s wanted for the last four years—Slopstyle gold and Superpipe gold. I’m stoked on the outcome of the finals—with Lago coming in third, Mason second, and then Shaun, they’re all three of my really good friends. Youth is taking over, and it’s now showing.—The Dingo

“You know what the funniest part was? I showed up at the pipe during practice and I was hating it, I was so bummed. It was just because my head wasn’t in the right spot, it took me to start trying some new tricks. Once I got that ten going, it got me out of that funk I was in. Now I’m going to go to Breck, have some fun and get better. I just want to go to Torino. It’s all I want to do, and it’s all I think about. It’s been a crazy road, but I’m pumped, I can’t wait, I got some confidence going now. —Shaun White
