DAY OF THE EVENT
-Registration opens at 8:00am.
-Field size; 180. Four divisions (15&under, 16& over, Girls & Open)
-Each kid gets a “goody bag (t-shirt, cd, stickers & poster).
-Throughout the day we give the kids free sandwiches, soda, water and chips.
-9:00 to 9:45 open practice.
-9:45 to 10:00 riders meeting.
-10:00 to 3:00 contests
-Total of 9 heats
-Heats 1,2,3 -15 &UNDER (bib # 1-60)
-Heats 4,5,6- 16 & OVER (bib # 61-120)
-Heat 7- Girls (bib # 121-160)
-Heats 8&9 —OPEN (bib # 161-180)
-Each heat holds 20 riders.
-Each heat last 20 minutes.
-Each division is judged as a group. We tally all score sheets from all heats and judge together.
-There are three rails in the set-up. The rails are set-up side by side.
-Each rail has a judge.
-Each rail is worth a high score of 20 points (60 points if your bad ass).
-We judge on a .5 scale, i.e.; gap to front boardslide with style 17, 50-50 a rail with style 10.5; each judge has his/her own impression, as long as the judging stays consistent, the results should prove accurate.
-Top 15 highest scores from both 15 and 16 groups move on to the finals.
-Top 10 highest scores from the girls or half of field size move to finals.
-Top 10 highest scores from the OPEN move on to the finals.
-Final heats are 20 minutes long and the same judging criteria apply.
