Copper Mountain, Colorado is under attack! With 1,600 competitors out in force on the slopes competing in every snowboard discipline from Giant Slalom to Halfpipe! That includes everyone from the Ruggie Girls (7 and under) to the Methuselah Man (60 plus). The results are already posted here for the first three days of competition.
Things are getting heated today with Men’s and Women’s Open Class halfpipe today, April 2, and Slopestyle tomorrow, April 3. Stay tuned to see what the next generation of pros has got!
In the meantime, Cat Leonaitis is blogging everyday with updates in pipe, boardercross, and a little bit of coverage of the epic riding that’s still to be had with the new snow in Copper’s back bowls. Check out the blog here or at usasa.org.
