Our camp zone was a tricky one to select. While we didn't have to worry about making sure we had a landing strip as in Deeper; avalanche dangers and access to the right terrain were prime considerations. Jones was lured by the sight of the enormous ramp in the background, a chute he and Terje ticked off at the end of the trip, but one that took a whole hour to skin to the base of and a further 2 hours to climb.

Svalbard is one of the most remote places on earth. It’s located north of mainlandEurope, midway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. There’s more polar bears than humans that live there. So when Jeremy Jones, and Terje Haakonsen decided to take a trip there, we just had to document it.
