Getting out to 'the zone' was a tough one, but once there, with the sleds gone, we were left in silence... no jets overhead, no car alarms in the night, no cell phone signal, just the mountains. And the mountains there blew us away, as worthy as any AK or Chamonix have thrown at us previously. Here Jeremy and Terje head to nearby chutes before we got the refresh of snow.

Svalbard is one of the most remote places on earth. It’s located north of mainlandEurope, midway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. There’s more polar bears than humans that live there. So when Jeremy Jones, and Terje Haakonsen decided to take a trip there, we just had to document it.
