January 23, 2004, Mansfield, Ohio—Bringing the heat to one cold winter, Snow Trails and Mountain Dew present, this Saturday, January 24, a battle for guts, honor, and mad pop. Outer Limits and the Competition hill serve as the set-up for judged rail and big air contests. First place in the air event drives home a Mountain Dew vending machine. It’s also about lights, cameras, spectator crowds, turntables, and a live rock show in the lodge.
Action starts on the metal at 3:30 p.m. Who will melt iron with technical tricks? The big air follows at 7:30 p.m. How’s your skills? Got the landing gear?
Open to all, registration begins onsite Saturday, January 24, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at the information desk continuing up until 4:30 p.m. Entry fees are: $10 for the Rail Slide, $15.00 for the Big Air, or $20 combined. A pre-purchased lift ticket or season pass is additionally required.
