If you could ride anywhere in the world, where would you go? Argentina, Alaska, Greenland, heliboarding in the Himalayas… anywhere that not many people have been before.
First Time: It was1986 with my friends Ken and Darin at the local mountain- Grouse Mountain. I had no snowboard boots, so I had to ride in Sorels. I rode a Treeline Snowboard, one of those boards with just a few inches of edge.
Is snowboarding ready for the Olympics? I don’t really care about the Olympics- it’s just another contest. Yes, I think the sport is ready for it.
If you didn’t snowboard, what would you be doing right now? I’d be playing hockey, snowmobiling, cooking. I’d probably open a restaurant.
What kind of food is your specialty? Seafood
What do you do when you’re not snowboarding? Skateboard, hang out with friends, snowmobile, play ice hockey.
Who most influences your style? Friends- the Creekside Mob, and people like Devun Walsh, Terje and Trevor Andrews.
Who do you ride with the most? Mike Orr, Alan Clarke, Dano, Wes Makepeace
If you were going on a trip and could only take five things with you (other than a change of clothes and your snowboard) what would those things be? Music, a music system, a snowmobile, friends, Canadian beer
