Scotts Valley, California-On behalf of everyone at Sessions and our participating sponsors, it brings us tremendous pride to announce the first of its kind amateur ski and snowboarding contest at Heavenly Resort this coming March 25th.In a world of overblown commercial contests, The Lumberjack Log Jam aims to make riding and skiing in contests fun again through a course like none other. The High Roller Nightlife terrain park at Heavenly will be transformed completely. Obstacles intended to look like trees but are boxes and rails, quarter-pipes to tree-bonks and a step up to a log cabin are only a few of the things you might see on the course this year. Top amateurs from around the world will have a chance to compete for $10,000 worth of prizes. If you’re participating, you may not end up landing a cover of the Wheaties box, but we do promise to deliver one of the most inspiring courses ever and a chance to elevate your snowboarding career to the next level. If you’re coming as a spectator, prepare yourself for some of the most innovative terrain and creative approaches you’ll ever see. Our hopes are for snowboarding and skiing to take themselves less seriously for one day out of the season and remind everyone just how much fun there is to be had on the mountain.Known worldwide for over two decades as the truest of outerwear brands, Sessions is honored to support the next generation of skiers and snowboarders who will continue to collectively blow our minds.Sessions is an action sports Apparel Company based in Santa Cruz, California.
