After a two-week trip to Switzerland for a K2 catalog shoot, I ended up in Barcelona, Spain for a Misschief Premiere of Ro Sham Bo. I went with Misschief director Fabia Grüebler, Anne-Flore Marxer, Snowplanet Magazine editors Thomas and Claudia, Method Magazine Florent and Matthieu (with a French accent, oui), and Sergie Arenas, our Spanish party organizer.

What other venue could be better really, since our last song is We’re from Barcelona. The bar was Mephisto, the theme was rock … I mean hardcore ROCK—studded belts, tattoos, dyed black hair and wallet chains were the norm here. I think we only saw one dude with a That tee on, which resembled the shred get up I’m used to in North America. Regardless, the crowd was amped and the club was full. There were hoots and hollers throughout the whole movie and they went nuts when we chucked out free product at the end. The party lasted until early hours in the morning, I have no idea when it ended because Anne Flore and I escaped at four a.m. so that we could get a few hours of sleep before making our flights home. Thanks Barcelona! It was really fun!

Also, thanks to Sergie, our Spanish friend from Camp of Champions for hooking this up, and thanks to all our friends who came!
