Trick or treat indeed. Bear Mountain opened up its doors on Friday after a wild October storm left it with almost two-feet of fresh snow to push around. Bluebird skies and a top-to-bottom park setup made for a great Halloween weekend.

There was a good solid crowd and 75 percent of the resort was open to boot. Bear did not disappoint, opening in full effect as The Park with a setup of rails and boxes. All this before November, and it’s not slowing down up there.

With Santa Ana winds blowing, the weather is perfect for snowmaking. Bear Mountain is on point this year so don’t sleep. For all kinds of info and current conditions log onto bearmtn.com, check it out.
