WAH WAH WAH why does everyone have this misconception that conditions don’t suck everywhere at some point. I’ve had good and bad days everywhere I’ve lived and rode. Just be stoked you’re sliding sideways.

No thanks, I rather not. Why don’t you guys quit your whining and move out west. It’s not like there arn’t great jobs, schools, and women out here. Ive done full time work/school and snowboarded 100+ days for the past three years.

Midwest!? Try living East Coast! Here in Buffalo even the top resorts don’t open till Mid December, and even then we don’t any decent snow until February.
October 20th, 2008 at 5:39 pm
try riding in what is possibly the worst damn city in Canada. Ottawa has nothing to offer near by untill at least end of december and dont hate on ice at least you can slide on it.

October 27th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
i was there that day, and the conditions have been great everyday in my opinion. Its the begining of the season so the runs will be totally packed pretty much everyday, the weekdays haven’t been much slower then the weekends. I grew up in michigan and i know what people are saying, i never complain out here its allways good. I do advise people to move out here if they get a chance, you will not regret it.
October 29th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
Icy conditions only make you better! Sharp edges are safer than dull ones. If you fall on ice so WHAT! Don’t FALL! Get out everyday no matter the conditions, that’s how you get better. If you worry about conditions, Get REAL!
