Lucas DeBari is a Mt. Baker local. He knows the place like the back of his hand, and he knows how to ride and land on his snowboard in powder-lots of it. Lucas also rides like a true bat, as evidenced this past season when he smoked a slew of seasoned vets, and even edged Olympic Snowboardcross Gold Medalist, Seth Wescott into second place to take the win in the legendary Mt. Baker Banked Slalom. DeBari has moves, and a bright future-this is not the last time you’ll see his mug gracing the pages of TWS.-Evan LeFebvre
