The Blizzardia continues as the Volcom crew continues to pillage eardrums, award ceremonies and snow. The Blizzard Bizarre caravan of shred rock’n’roll embarked from the shores of Southern California with eyes set on Mount Baker as the final looming destination. “It’s ride and rock’n’roll—everyday,” says Volcom head Billy Anderson and so far the tour has been nothing less. It has even accelerated as crews amassed over the last two days of riding Mount Bachelor.

Snow has been bleak, but the growing camaraderie of people and riding has kept everything alive. New faces, new terrain and new shows fuel the snowboard hunger at every stop. The tour has been a rolodex of snowboard history watching riders Jamie Lynn and Josh Dirksen rally with young bucks Skylar Thornton, the Ciszek brothers (Curtis and Martin) and all friends in between.

We’re hold up at the Price family compound in Bend right now awaiting the RV mothership to take us through the last leg of the journey. Kandi Coded and Tweak Bird are gearing up to play at the Summit tonight, Portland tomorrow, Seattle the next, and lastly Mount Baker for the Banked Slalom. Get off the couch, stoneyour.tv, then come out and rock—the music is bound to hit you. Maybe the chords will even reach the snow gods for a blurry white finale. See you there.
