It’s been a long, tough fight, but I finally talked the big boss man into letting me go to South America. The Airblaster and Paul’s Board Bin pro teams was headin’ down to Argentina towards the end of August, so I jumped in for a couple weeks of south-of-the-boarder shred action.
I’ll go out on a limb and say that it could have been one of the best trips I’ve ever had. The folks at South American Snow Sessions hooked us up with lodging. Las Lenas had what I think is some of the best terrain in the southern hemisphere. To top it all off, it snowed feet and feet of snow. And let me tell you something, if you don’t know what Paul’s Board Bin is all about—well, you will soon enough. We’re talking a team that will destroy the modern snowboard world as we know it. When joined together with Airblaster heavyweights such as Travis Parker, Jake Welch, Shaun McKay, Robbie Sell, Japanese super pro JT, and Jed Anderson, I’m surprised that mountain is still standing. They tore it to bits. Keep an eye out for a feature in an upcoming issue of TransWorld.
