State Of Women’s Snowboarding: The Ladies Have Their Say

Women’s snowboarding is at an all-time high. In competition the ladies are getting more aggressive, adding more rotations, smoothing our their spins and going bigger than before. They’re hopping on sleds and going deeper into the backcountry. And in the streets they’re seeking new spots and pushing the level of tricks from the past. Whatever the terrain, women aren’t slowing down. Continuing on from the Bridging The Gap feature we’ve gathered Kimmy Fasani, Hana Beaman, Marie-France Roy, Marie Hucal, Jess Kimura, Spencer O’brien, Helen Schettini, Leanne Pelosi, and Robin Van Gyn to chat about the challenges they still face and where women’s riding is going from here.
