New Website Offers Upgraded Tools for Consumers
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH- On the advent of the 2009-10 ski and snowboard season,
Ski Utah has launched a redesigned SkiUtah.com to better serve its
membership and consumers. The new site features a number of aesthetic and
functional improvements aimed at better serving Utah visitors and locals as
they plan their ski and snowboard experiences. An upgraded Hot Deals
section, ³Book Now² and video buttons, a new featured listing section,
improved snow reporting and social networking pages are only a few of the
many renovations to the site.
³Modern travelers rely on the internet when researching a vacation,² said
Ski Utah President Nathan Rafferty. ³The new SkiUtah.com is an entertaining
and efficient tool for both locals and visitors. The site contains all the
necessary information on Utah ski and snowboard resorts and other industry
services.²
SkiUtah.com enables users to create an experience tailored to their
interests and budget. The new ³My Vacation² function acts like an online
shopping cart enabling users to store Hot Deals, lodging, resort information
and other items of interest for later reference as they continue to plan
their Utah winter vacation. Additionally, Ski Utah has created a dedicated
website optimized for mobile web browsers which allows users to check the
snow report, find Hot Deals and locate member businesses using a hand-held
device (http://m.skiutah.com). Other popular features of the site include
images, maps, videos and an online press room.
