The Arctic Challenge
After two days of practice it was time for the mens qualifications today. Unfortunately, a number of injuries shortened the womens startlist, so it was decided that the remaining women went directly to semifinals. This gave them an extra day of practice today.
American ripper Chas Guldemond strapped a head-cam to his helmet to give us an overview of the slopestyle course and to show you what it is like throw yourself over these arctic monsters.

Contest organizers have locked in a temporary location for 2009 in Oslo and worked out a deal to bring the iconic quarterpipe showdown back to Holmenkollen Ski Jump arena in Oslo in 2010.
