The second edition of the RIDE Shakedown ended with a bang this afternoon at The Summit at Snoqualmie with Matts Kulisek earning his third RIDE Shakedown 2011 podium. The encore was well received by close to 5,000 excited fans watching riders compete on a bluebird day.
Round 2 of the RIDE Shakedown USA kicked March 18th with the amateur qualifications and rail jam competition at The Summit at Snoqualmie. The event’s long awaited return was greeted by eager athletes at the resort located a short 45 minutes from Seattle. As the night winded down, the crowd cheered on the Rail Jam finals and a much welcomed snowfall.
RIDE Shakedown Returns to The Summit at Snoqualmie for a Second Year
As the fog lifted over Snoqualmie, the first-ever USA Finals came on hard. Matts Kulisek and Megan Ginter rule the night at the 2010 Ride Shakedown.
With the rail jam and main competition qualifiers underway, the 2010 Ride Shakedown has officially begun.
The Summit at Snowqualmie has teamed up with Airblaster and Snowboy Productions to bring you what might be the cheapest, and different contest of the season. You can expect everything from box sliding to thumb wrestling with Tim Eddy, to a free shirt and subscription to that other snowboarding magazine all for the cost of that next drink your going to buy tonight. If your within driving distance, be there January 16th to witness the carnival of sliding.
Snoqualmie is open with limited operations this Saturday & Sunday, November 14th and 15th (9am-4pm) at Summit West.
