Bonfire Pipe to Pipe Hype!

Battle of the Ams for Goods and Glory!

MT. HOOD, OREGON (July 3, 2009) –  Which snowboard camp has the best up and coming Ams? The battle begins July 11th at Windell’s snowboard camp at Timberline resort, where 10 coveted spots will be reserved to represent the campers of High Cascade Snowboard Camp.

HCSC Session 3 campers who are ready to rumble on the rails with Windell’s need to contact the HCSC office by the beginning of the session to pre-register for the rail jam.

Former HCSC camper Sawyer Deen, took home the title in 2007, and managed to pick up a sponsorship with Bonfire and Salomon snowboards in the process.  He will be back and riding with the Pro’s to battle it out for the 2K cash purse prize.

Windell’s campers who plan on competing can register at camp.  Registration is also open to the public, for both Ams and Pros.   Registration is free, with the purchase of a Timberline lift pass, but there are a limited number of spots available so register early starting at 9am at Timberline’s Wy East Day Lodge.

Bonfire Pipe To Pipe Contest Scheduled

PORTLAND, ORE. (May 5, 2009) – The Bonfire Pipe to Pipe is longest running summer snowboard event in the world.  June 12, July 11th and July 19th Bonfire brings the kids and pro’s together to ride at Timberline and Windell’s on Mt. Hood– with a rail jam and skate contest like none other– followed by a free Barbeque and tons of prizes.

The events are free and open to the public.  Pros take home cash and Ams win the goods from event sponsors.
