The Olympic-size superpipe at Mammoth Mountain is now open. The 550-foot long, 22-foot tall pipe became the first in the world to open this season, the result of the Unbound Pipe team blowing, pushing, and cutting snow around the clock for about a week.

The Burton NZ Snowboard Open (NZO) today announced they are heading back to the NZO place of origin, Cardrona Alpine Resort. Running from Tuesday 11th through Saturday 15th August, 2009.

LAKE WANAKA, New Zealand (April 21, 2008) – The world’s top snowboarders will once again return to the giant superpipe and slopestyle courses at Snow Park NZ in Lake Wanaka for five days of world-class snowboarding action during the Burton New Zealand Open Snowboarding Championships from July 29 to August 2.
