I made a project in final cut express its about 1.7 gb because its HD but youtube wont let me upload? any ideas on how to get around this it keeps saying unable to convert video file

Yo i think MPEG Streamclip can solve your problems. Here's a link to download it: http://www.squared5.com/ . I'm pretty sure you can then convert it from .mov to an Mpeg and Youtube will accept that. Peace

Sounds like you need to compress it first, then upload.  1.7 Gig is pretty huge
