So do you have a suggestion of what I should do if I don't have a backyard hiil but would still like to put in some features that I have made?

ya man, my backyard has got a little hill in it, and there is also this bigger hill 200 ft. away from my place. i already got a hop-on 2m rail with side-by-side piping, it starts at 1 1/2ft, and raises up to 2ft. im currently making the box from this month's “droppin' knowledge” section of transworld snowboarding. i also got a 4ft quarter pipe to drop in on:)

Did you ever catch your edge on the PVC? I thought about that but was nervous about catching my edge and hurting my face.
Yeah i forgot to mention that, pvc is tricky to grind because most of the time its super slick and you end up slipping out easy but if you put too much pressure on your leading edge you dig in like nothing and catch hard. Ive only caugt a few times tho and the pvc doesnt hurt as bad as metal or wood. I figure if you can grind pvc good you'll do fine on metal since you can rub your edges a little more.

ok i got the best setup out of all you all. I made a quaterpipe and a rail and a box and a kicker and everything. take a 3 foot wide piece of pvc pipe and then spray silicone on it then stick it in the snow and ur good to go. then get a cheap kiddie board at the store(burton chopper 130) then take and drill the binding holes out on it and epoxy cement them in.

My main snowboarding buddy has a nice lil hill for a backyard, and we spend basically an hour or 2 a day building jumps and stuff to ride for like 2 more hours.
It's mostly jumps, and if we find some wood to put in the snow, those are fun to bonk. Their still working on the interior of their house and the deck, so there is a lot of wood layin around, we use that to build jibs and walls. He used to skate a lot so we use skate rails for pole jams and skate jumps covered in snow make good small jumps or landings for the bigger jumps (bigger for the backyard, mind you)

Last year i had a flat down i made out of pvc pipe drilled into wood (two 2″ pipes wide), it was actually two 8 foot sections but it worked nice for practicing kinks. My friend has some pvc rails too that are taller and about 4 pipes wide and we usually can make any kink rail imaginable since he has 2 up/down sections, 2 low flat sections, and 1 high flat section (each 10 feet long). I also shoveled a 20 foot table with the help of some friends.
This year im goin legit tho, i took a welding class and made a 20 ft flat bar thats about 2 feet high, so that should be sick.
I've always wanted to get some type of pipe (like a culvert or irragation pipe) because you basically just throw it out on the hill and its ready to sesh. You can usually find somethin on craigslist or if you just want some metal go to discountsteel.com

No I mean like where did you ride it? Your backyard, a hill, or like an empty field or what?

Like storing it? Or what was my setup? I'll answer both.
I just store my shtuff under my deck. My parents don't mind.
And I mixed it up last season. I had a box up the whole time which was my main jib down the center of my hill. And I just put random fun stuff to the sides like log slides and a homemade wallride (that collapsed on me once). I like to keep it nice and ghetto.

Last season I just threw some junk down and destroyed it via snowboard. Thats fun for a little but it doesn't last. So this year I'm thinking an 11 foot box with a rail just made out of pvc pipe and maybe a barrel jib if i'm feeling daring. I found some nice material almost like refridgerator siding in a dumpster that will be buttery for the box. Just get creative and jib what you want to jib.
