K so i've been getting some major pain on the top of my foot while i've been up shredding lately. I put alot of pressure on the top of my foot from buttering and pressing and usually about half way through the day i can't take it anymore and want to just pack it in and go home. I have capstraps on my burton missions so i'm pretty sure it's not that causing the pain. I read about the burton “Buffer” socks and was wondering if they were actually any good

or if there is something else i could do other than just popping some tylenol or something.

Has it been long since you last shredded? I always get this crap at the start of the season, but eventually it stops and fades away the more i ride. I think my feet just need to get used to working their ass off in those sweaty boots for hours.

Try to loosen your inner boot, that usually works for me. Just tighten till you feel it, and then let go a bit. Ride some switch when you can to apply pressure to the other foot instead… Good luck!

Check out Smartwool socks. Burton socks are crap compared to the cushioning of wool. I just picked up the Smartwool mountaineering socks with a pair of red cold weather Superfeet insoles and foot pain is gone. I am currently rocking this in my Burton 08-09 Ion boots. Peace.
