- This photo is super sick! Definitely trippy with the checker board shadow cast from the Snowpark Fence. Also great Action of Kelly, big sick stalefish. I like the use of black and white in this shot, it complements the snow, the sky and the rider. Great focus and lighting. Props!

too much checker and not enough trick
i personally think that the trick should be the focal point and the checker should be the secondary….maybe a blend like, oh say the first part of the checker in focus and it fades out, allthewhile the trick itself is in detailed focus and the background blurred out….ya dig?

if the first part of the checker is in focus and then fades out but the rider is still is in focus, that would just not make sense and look way over photoshoped, maybe if it was a tilt shift lens, then u would sorta get a look ur thinking of, but not completely fake.
i think its a super sick shot, the checker kinda distracts you from the fact its a half pipe, which is kinda neat. and the nice clear sky in the back. pretty killer shot

so i guess you cant do that, unless you have a real slr
and the photo is set up
