Shooting backlit action can be tough.  Here is a good example of recognizing an interesting scene and shooting an interestng photo using all the elements available espeically the surrounding cool clouds in the background.  The action is well composed into the shot, it’s a pretty basic but timeless.

Looks cold!  Fresh snow on the trees feels like deep winter.  Nice sun burst effect too.  Good photo
