Words: Hondo

Yesterday was an end of an era in snowboarding. For the past 16 years the word Forum has been synonymous with the idea of progressive snowboarding. Growing up we looked up to videos like The Resistance, and True Life to show us what was cool in snowboarding. We looked up to The Forum 8, we looked up to the Forum team from Video Gangs, and we looked up to the crew from THAT. What Peter Line was able to do with Forum as a brand was life changing to people. Forum helped sparked people to move out west in search of killer snow, and awesome urban features that they saw in all the movies. Forum changed the way people looked at snowboarding. And that is why it is with a heavy heart that we say peace out Forum.

This weeks Wallpaper Wednesday is an homage to past and present Forum riders. While we have a big collection- five pages, we don’t have everyone here. Peter Line, Joni Malmi, Nic Suave, Jed Anderson, Lucas Magoon, Louie Vito, Travis Kennedy, Mike Page, Ingemar Backman, Jason Murphy, Chad Otterstrom, Nate Bozung, Mikko Sjoblem, Eddie Wall, Cheryl Maas, Peter Konig, Trevor Jacob, Sean Tedore, Alek Oestreng, Brian Thein, and Mario Kaeppeli- we didn’t forget you guys. We just didn’t have Wallpaper photos of all of you. But to anyone who was ever part of the Forum team you all played a huge part in the growth, and influence of snowboarding, and we here at TransWorld SNOWboarding are really sad to see you go.
