Oceanside, CA, May 13, 2003 — Glenn Rogers has been named Vice President, Group Publisher of TransWorld Media, a subsidiary of Time4 Media, it was announced today by Andrew Clurman, President of TransWorld Media and Mountain Sports Media. The appointment is effective immediately.

Based in Oceanside, CA, Rogers will direct all day-to-day operations for the TransWorld Media titles including TransWorld SKATEboarding, TransWorld SNOWboarding, TransWorld SURF, FREEZE, TransWorld BMX, RIDE BMX and TransWorld MOTOcross. Rogers replaces former Group Publisher Tim Wrisley, who will be leaving the company in mid-June

“Glenn has more than 30 years of publishing experience from local magazines and newspapers to global publications as well as events and tradeshows,” said Clurman. “He will play a key role in the next generation of growth for this group.”

Rogers joins TransWorld Media most recently from Kilmer Capital, where he was a consultant responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities in the publishing sector. Over the past 30 years he has held many senior level positions including Executive Vice President for the Media and Entertainment Group of Cahners Business Information, which includes titles such as Variety, Publishers Weekly and Broadcasting & Cable; Executive Vice President for Advanstar Communications, responsible for 28 regional and global publications; President of Black Press, where he ran 18 community newspapers; and Executive Vice President for Telemedia Publishing, publishers of Western Living, Vancouver Magazine and Select Homes Magazine among others. Rogers has experience in all aspects of the publishing business including the editorial side, which he acquired when early in his career, he edited a shelter magazine, called Select Homes. Rogers also writes a monthly column for an investment advisory newsletter.

Rogers is a graduate of York University with a B.A. in Psychology. Last year, he completed a 12-month sailing trip, which was widely followed through the family web site that attracted over 5000 readers each week. The trip also included a trans Atlantic crossing with a crew of two others. An active windsurfer and mountain biker, Rogers and his family look forward to returning to the Southern California area.
